Swampscott Garden ART Walk

REGISTRATION IS OPEN NOW for the Swampscott Garden ART Walk, which is being held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, 11 p.m. - 3 p.m. (Registration closes May 31st.)

  • CALLING ALL SWAMPSCOTT ARTISTS: Share your creations in local gardens.
  • CALLING ALL GARDENERS: Share your natural wonders, big and small.

IT’S TIME TO REGISTER!

Please consider registering your art and/or garden (any size or type of garden), for the third annual GARDEN ART WALK being held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Online registration is easy and FREE! Click here to register now.

This year’s Garden Art Walk will be bigger than ever since there will be gardens, art, and activities across our entire town with two shuttles making loops throughout town. LOWE’S, one of our generous sponsors, will be offering prizes to registered artists and gardeners for sharing gardens and art.

LOWE’S prizes are drawn from the registered gardens/artists throughout the month of May and June, as you prepare for the event. Included in the prizes for registrants are a LOWE’S Blackstone 28" Culinary Griddle, LOWE'S Gift Certificate, Garden Accessories, Potted Plants, and more.

TO ALL ARTISTS WHO DO NOT HAVE A GARDEN:

Many gardens are hosting several artists. Just steps away from the 11 a.m. kick-off is Claire Donnelly's Open Studios on Eastman Avenue, where several artists can be found. Hannah Cloud Sharpless and Fran Levy-Freiman are hosting several artists on Reid Terrace, and Ruth Rooks will be showcasing Swampscott Art Association works in her beautiful gardens on Puritan Lane.

While ReachArts cannot guarantee a garden for your art, we will try our best to find a beautiful spot!

Additionally, Lisa Boemer and fellow artists will demonstrate plein-air painting throughout gardens in the Monument area.

NEXT STEPS:

  1. Register your ART--or your window box, planters, or garden--no matter how big or small! This will put you on the printed map and online map. This will also make you eligible for LOWE'S prizes. To register, please click here.
  2. Consider volunteering to connect with neighbors. Many nonprofits need assistance with flower beds or art activities the week before the event. On the day of the event, we are looking for volunteers for 2-hour shifts. Please contact pat.gorham@reacharts.org for more information.
  3. Please spread the word to friends and neighbors about this wonderfully inclusive event that everyone can enjoy.

If you have any questions and/or ideas, please feel free to contact Pat Gorham at pat.gorham@reacharts.org

Thank you for being such a good neighbor.
