Jan Coville is a mixed media artist and career counselor living in Moultonborough, NH. She has exhibited her work throughout the country and has work in many private and public collections.

Artist Statement:

My work is about the inward journey. It speaks of the deepest places inside ourselves where the experience of being a human being is a shared one. It is about emotion, feeling, spirituality and transformation - things I glimpse not only within me, but in the eyes of others.
My work is created using mixed media and a variety of surface techniques. I get great joy and inspiration from developing new methods of working and I incorporate technique exploration into each piece. Much of my work explore the idea of social masks and the different personas we put on in order to navigate our lives. All of my work explores the terrible beauty of the human psyche.
